About me

I am currently a QA Technician at Dambuster Studios, and have been working there since 2021. Prior to that, I started my journey towards game design in 2017 at the Confetti Institute of Creative Technologies in Nottingham, where I completed my BSc in Games Production, and honed my passion for game design.

Although university was where I found my passion for game design, my love for videogames themselves - and their inner workings - goes back much further. When playing Warcraft 3 for the first time, I would often imagine my own scenarios, and eventually attempt to create some.

Games

If I had to pick, my favourite game of all time is easily The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt. The fluid combat, amazing storytelling and unforgettable cast of characters has led me to replay it in its entirety more times than I would care to admit.

Even though videogames are now my 9-5, I still make sure to take some game time. Most of this is spent in MMORPGs, in the past this would be World of Warcraft or Star Wars: The Old Republic, but currently I’m pouring most of my hours into Final Fantasy XIV. I love spending time with my guild, and joining in with community activities a few times a week.

Cooking

The three things I love most in this world are: my family (and friends), videogames, and food. In fact, I would put food at the same level as the people closest to me, and I’m sure most of them would agree! When I get the opportunity, I love cooking for others, whether it’s snacks for a board game night, or a full feast when family is visiting.

Experimenting with food is always fun, and I especially love cooking food from my Caribbean heritage, although I’m (usually) successful at making something tasty, it will never be quite as good as the food I’d eat at my grandmother’s.
